Teaching Our Children Biblical Values

The Goals of the Messiah Lutheran Sunday School are to:

Serve the children of our congregation in a Sunday School form of Christian learning
Serve children of our community of all ages, in a manner to introduce and/or enhance their training in God’s Word
Offer parents the opportunity to show their children the importance of Christian focused activities in addition to the Church Service
Offer children the opportunity to share and learn with others about the true value of Christian living
Teach children through bible story/study how Christianity can be a part of their everyday lives
Allow children the opportunity to share time and activities with other children of common values
To illustrate to parents the joy and fun that children can have in a Christian focused activity, where they learn of their Savior through lesson, singing, and activities
To plant the seed for a continued Christian based life of service to our Lord and Savior.
Serve the children of our congregation in a personal, age level teaching of the Word of God each Sunday
Stimulate the thoughts and ideas of children as they learn and develop their Christian values and beliefs
Relate to our children how their lives, and the lives of those around them are in the hands of God
Teach our children to call on God’s help first in any need, and know that He is with them to help them
